STELLARTON – A Pictou County man is facing numerous drug charges after police raided a residence on MacKay Street in Stellarton overnight Monday.
At around 3 a.m. the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Stellarton Police Service, New Glasgow Regional Police Canine and Truro Police Service Canine, executed a search warrant at a residence.
Police seized a quantity of cocaine, cannabis marijuana, and cannabis resin.
Subsequently, police arrested a 27-year-old male from Stellarton.
He has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cannabis resin and possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana. Also, the man was charged with multiple counts of failing to comply with a judicial recognizance.
The man remains in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
