Police have arrested three suspects in connection to a drive-by shooting incident that happened on Jan 3.

According to an RCMP statement, a 25-year old man from Central West River, a 26-year-old man from New Glasgow and a 31-year old man from Thorburn are due to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on April 1.

The names of the three suspects have not been released.

They face charges of attempted murder, careless use of a firearm and breach of probation.

At around 8:00 a.m. on Jan. 3 the three men drove past a home on East River East Side Rd. and fired shots inside. No one inside the home was injured and police arrested one man in connection with the incident at 2:30 p.m.

The two others turned themselves in to the Stellarton RCMP detachment on Jan. 7.

The three have since been released on conditions to have no contact with the victims.
