PICTOU – Five days have been set aside for a jury trial for a Stellarton man accused of break and enter and theft.
Arthur Stewart Baxter, 50, is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, break and enter, possession of property for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possessing break-in tools.
The charges were laid in relation to an alleged incident of Highway 4 in Pictou West in August 2017. He has agreed to remain in custody until his trial.
His trial will start Sept. 10 in Pictou Supreme Court.
