At approximately 4 p.m. on Feb. 17, the man's truck was located near Mill Rd. in Upper Barney's River. He was located nearby and was deceased.

“The investigation into the death is continuing and we have not made a determination about any criminality at this time,” a release from the RCMP stated.

UPDATED

RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Clarke said police have had a few tips come in but officers have still not been able to locate 78-year-old Wallace MacLean or his truck.

An RCMP helicopter was used earlier this week in the search, but did not find anything.

Clarke said if they could narrow the search down to a specific area, they would do a ground search, but they haven't been able to do that yet.
