The plea hearing for Morrigan Perez has been adjourned until May 6.

Perez, 22 is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault in connection with an incident which occured in Millsville, Pictou County, early on the morning of Februrary 18, 2019.

Perez did not appear in Pictou Provincial court for her scheduled hearing on April 16, and court documents obtained by The News state that she is currently in a treatment facility. 

Perez was arrested with another individual, Drew McCabe, on Feb 21 following an incident which left a victim in hospital with life threatening injuries.

McCabe, 25 faces charges of aggravated assault as well as multiple firearms related charges that stem from a separate incident which occured on Janurary 2019.

He is scheduled to enter his plea on April 29.

Both Perez and McCabe have been released on conditions.
