WATERVALE, N.S.
A 59-year-old man from Pictou County is facing numerous weapon and drug charges following the search of a home in Watervale.
On Oct. 13, Pictou County District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Craig Rd. As a result of the search, police seized several firearms, ammunition and a quantity of marihuana.
The 59-year-old was charged with: Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Restricted Firearm without a Licence, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Order, Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Production of a Controlled Substance (marijuana).
The man is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on Nov. 19.
