PICTOU – The Municipality of the County of Pictou ended its 2016-2017 fiscal year in good financial standing.
Audit statements were approved by council Monday that showed county having a $802,000 surplus in its operating budget in its fiscal year that ended March 2017. Its consolidated surplus, which included all of its accounts, was $1.5 million.
