A busy month ahead for Salt Springs 4H

June has come to an end and it was another busy month for the Salt Springs 4H club.  
As always we started June off with our club's general meeting on Monday, June 3 at the Salt Springs Elementary School.We reviewed important club business, upcoming events, club fundraising and our upcoming club achievement day. 
On Sunday, June 16, our club served lunch at the Angus Association barbecue that was held at the Pictou Exhibition grounds.
July is going to be an especially busy month for our club and its members.
Our members will be busy selling tickets on a $500 gift card basket, which is one of our major fundraisers for the year. Tickets can be purchased from any club member or leader and the draw will take place on Monday, July 15 at our Achievement Day.
On July 15, our club's Achievement Day will be held at the Salt Springs Elementary School starting at noon. We would like to invite everyone to come and see the amazing projects that our club members have been working on this year. There will be a barecue for all to enjoy and our gift card basket draw will take place!
On Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21 our club will be running the canteen and helping out at the track for the Mt. Thom MX Park motocross races. Please come out and support our club and enjoy a couple days of action packed racing!
Our 4H year is almost over but summer vacation is just beginning. Enjoy the summer, have lots of fun with friends and family!
