Salvation Army employees Wendy Ward and Rebecca Ervin display some of the baskets that will be part of the silent and live auction held on May 29 for Red Shield Night, a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. The event will be held at the North Nova Education Centre in New Glasgow from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live entertainment including Ray Stewart, Amelia Parker and Don Haggart. Fashion show and snacks provided. Cost, $5 at the door with a donation to the food bank.
