FRASERS MOUNTAIN, N.S. — Pictou District RCMP arrested a 23-year-old man from Pictou County for impaired driving following a collision near Fraser’s Mountain. 

On Oct. 28 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Pictou District RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Little Harbour Rd., near Fraser’s Mountain. Police arrived on scene to find a vehicle upside down in the ditch and a man walking away from the vehicle.

Police located the driver and after observing some signs of impairment by alcohol, arrested him. He was taken to Stellarton detachment for a breath test and as a result is facing charges of impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on Dec. 23.
