CHURCHVILLE, N.S.

Police have arrested a 25-year old man in relation to a report of shots being fired at a residence in East River East Side Road in Churchville on Thursday, Jan 3., and are still looking for two more. 

At 8:30 a.m. police responded after three suspects in a grey four-door pickup truck fired a long-gun at the residence while they drove by. None of the three people inside were harmed.  

According to the RCMP media release the police do not believe this was random act and that the parties are known to one another. 

The arrest happened at 2:30 p.m., and the RCMP are aware of the identities of the other two men involved. They are also warning that both men may be armed and asking the public not to approach them.
