New Glasgow police say a fire this morning in Trenton was the work of an arsonist.
On Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Trenton Fire Department assisted by New Glasgow and Abercrombie Fire Departments and New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a fire at a residence and travel trailer on Phillip Street, Trenton.
The residence and travel trailer were completed destroyed. Police say the source of the fire is suspicious.
Immediately after the report of a fire at a residence and travel trailer on Phillip Street, Trenton Fire Department also responded to a small fire inside a residence on Sixth Street Trenton, N.S.
No one was injured in either the residence on Philip Street or Sixth Street, Trenton.
New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit continue to investigate.
