Alan Forbes
A service of remembrance and celebration for the life of Alan Forbes formerly of Hopewell will be held on Sunday, September 2 at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Alan passed away in 2017 at the QEII in Halifax. Alan is survived by his wife Peggy and children Peter, Jill and Ellen of Stratford (Keppoch), Prince Edward Island and by his brother Ian (Shirley) of Brookfield, NS and sister Joy (Lloyd) MacDonald of Hopewell. Alan was the son of the late Bertha and Lawson Forbes and was predeceased by his brothers Floyd and Bill and sisters Jeanne Gale, Lois Ward and Kathleen Flemming.
