Anna Molyneaux

Trenton - Anna Bell Molyneaux, 86, formerly of Trenton, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou. Born on March 25, 1931 at Loch Broom, Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late Albert John and Lottie Mae (Burge) Gunning. She is survived by her twin sister, Rena (Jack) Hicks, St. Peters, Cape Breton; her son, Brent (Eileen) Molyneaux, Trenton; daughters: Marlene (Ross) Bonnyman, Tatamagouche; Pamela (Jerry) Beden, Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren: Thomas, Kimberly and Daniel Molyneaux; Jeffrey and Kari Bonnyman. She was predeceased by her husband, Murdock MacLean Molyneaux; sister, Winnie Sewell; and brothers, Russell and Wendell Gunning. Our mother was very active in the Church during her lifetime. She also enjoyed participating in many social activities in the community. She loved to make other people happy with her positive upbeat spirit and attitude and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff of the Shiretown Nursing Home, for their care. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. Funeral service 1 pm Wednesday, in the Trenton Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Leon Teal officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
