It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Thelma Elizabeth Betty Moser on Saturday Nov. 16, 2019. Born on April 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Marjorie Rita (Pettipas) Patriquin. Betty is survived by Lewis Moser, her husband of 60 years; her three children, Richard (Darline), Eureka; Donna (Warren) Munroe, Westville; and Stephen (Donna Robinson), Eureka; special nephew Neil (Sandra) Ross; special niece Cathy Lynds; her grandchildren, Adam Munroe (Laura); Ashley Moser (Greg Muir); Tashia (Matt) Lynch; Crystal Sarty (Karl MacGee); Nicholas Moser (Cait MacKenzie); Vanessa Moser; Melissa Moser (Chase Hanford); Cassandra Munroe; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Abigail, Zack, Taylyr, Sage, Ava, Nathan, Penelope, Lyla, Rylan, Greyson, Jaedyn, Mattix, Zoey, Hailey and Cole. She is also survived by sisters Margie MacCumber; Beverly Millen; Katherine (Wayne) Sponagle; Loretta (Gerald) Landry; Mildred (Orville) Towns; Carolyn (George) Mannhardt; Florence (Harris) Currie; and brothers Wilfred (Sharon) Patriquin and Raymond Patriquin; best friends Alice Robinson and Molly Crawley; many nieces, nephews, and chosen grandchildren. Betty was know “Nana” by all. Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Billy, Tommy and Clarence Patriquin; her sisters Doris Acorn; Sadie Faulkner, and Alice Ross. Betty was a wonderful full time mother until her children were grown at which time she worked in home care always providing extra special attention to all left in her care. Special thank you to Dr. Ann Kwasnik and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit. Their care and compassion will always be remembered. There will be no visitation as per Betty’s wishes. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul United Church in Westville on Tuesday at 2 p.m. November 19 with Rev. Dr. Mary Taylor officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
