David 'Dave' Murdock Maceachern

MacEACHERN, David ‘Dave’ Murdock It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dave MacEachern, 44, Edmonton, formerly of Westville on September 11, 2019. Dave was born in New Glasgow on March 18, 1975. He was a son of Billy MacEachern and the late Dolina (nee Cyr) MacEachern. Dave graduated from Westville High School and then went on to study cabinet carpentry at the NSCC. He was very talented at drawing and wood working. He was employed as a heavy- duty equipment operator. He is survived by brother, Ray (Catherine); son, Dakosta; father, Billy (Andrea); half-sister, Kyla; special aunt, Rhonda (Vernon) Hartling, and Megan (Thomas and their son, Nathan) Hartling who was more like a sister to him than a cousin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. He was predeceased by mom, Dolina; grandparents, Murdock and Joan Cyr, and Ronnie and Hazel MacEachern; uncles, Tony and Mike (in infancy) Cyr and Art MacEachern. A private family committal to be held and a celebration of life to be held on Saturday, October 5 at the Westville Legion 2-4 p.m.
