FRANCES LOUISE PEARL

Frances Louise Pearl, 86, of West Branch, Pictou Co., passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Sackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Hazen and Ida (Ogden) Goodwin. She spent most of her married life in West Branch and was an avid Coronation Street fan. A loving mother and grandmother, her family was her greatest enjoyment, especially seeing her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her children, Larry (Betty), Alberta;, Barbara MacKay, Lyons Brook, Joanne Smith, Stellarton, Everett (Wanda), West Branch, Avery Aker (Debbie), Windsor, Craig, Alberta, Kim Smith (Vattis), West Branch, Cherie Salter (Mark), Westville; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Ivan Goodwin (Tally), Whycocomagh; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Pearl; infant daughter, Sandra Dee; brothers, Donald, Carmen, Marvin and James Goodwin; sisters, Margaret Donald and Laura Tower. Mrs. Pearl is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Four Corners Cemetery, Sackville, NB. at 2:30 on Tuesday. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca.
