Freddie Surette

Trenton - Henry Freddie Surette, age 82, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Goldboro, he was a son of the late Henry and Dola (Josey) Surette. He retired from Maritime Tel and Tel, Test Centre, after 32 years of service. He was well-known for and took great pride in decorating their home for Christmas. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Ross); sons: Gary, Hardwood Hill; Scott, Trenton. He was predeceased by brothers: Victor and Percy; foster parents, Judson and Ada (Kaiser) McConnell; foster sister, Muriel MacDougall. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
