Jesse Irving James Bigney — New Glasgow

Jesse Irving James Bigney Born March 11, 1948 Jesse passed away on March 18 at the Aberdeen Hospital, surrounded by family. Jesse is survived by his son Jason (Lisa) and 2 grandchildren. Sisters: Helen Boudreau, Halifax; Dorothy (Bill Fitzgerald), Ontario; Genesta, Ontario. Brothers: Terry (Nancy), New Glasgow; Ernie, Granton; Sylvester (Connie), Alberta and Leslie, Westville. He was predeceased by parents Henry and Mabel Bigney and brother Henry. Jesse spent most of his life in Ontario, working at Ladelaw's Trucking and later as a Carpenter in Northern Ontario where he loved to renovate cottages. Jesse returned to Pictou County in 2017 where he remained until his death. Funeral Service and Reception will be held at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home in New Glasgow on Friday, March 22 at 11:00am.
