Jessie Catherine ‘Cathy” (Maclean) Reid

PLYMOUTH – Jessie Catherine “Cathy” (MacLean) Reid, 59, Plymouth, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Foster and June Elizabeth (Nelson) MacLean. Cathy was a kind, loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife. She loved her family and keeping in touch with her lifelong friends. Cathy will be sadly missed and forever remembered by those she loved. Surviving are her husband, Kim Reid; daughter, Bonnie (Chris) Chisholm, Stellarton; grandchildren, Michayla Davidson and Skylar Chisholm; sister, Darlene MacLean, Bridgeville; brothers, Albert (Jill) MacLean, Surrey, B.C.; George (Marion) MacLean, Springville; Robbie MacLean (Carolyn Harris), Bridgeville; aunts, Jessie MacDonald and Marg Morrison; uncles, Donnie Nelson and Wayne MacLean; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Cathy’s life will take place 1-3 p.m. Saturday, August 25th in Springville Church Hall. Donations may be made in Cathy’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
