Leonard Marcipont

John “Leonard” Marcipont , age 83, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018 at home. Leonard worked at the Aberdeen Hospital laundry department for 38 years. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Partington); brother William (Evelyn); sisters Alice (Douglas) MacKay and Muriel (Lee) Pitts; sister in law Adelene McGillivary (Royce), brother in law Robert Partington (Sandra) and nieces and nephews. He will be missed by John and his friends at Tim Horton’s. He was predeceased by his parents Hector and Annie Marcipont; sisters Mary (Jack) MacLean and Jean (Richard) Lees; brother Hector (Rene) Marcipont. For those who wish, donations would be appreciated to St. Bees Anglican Church or a charity of your choice. No flowers by request. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A grave side committal will be held on Monday, October 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Bees Cemetery with Rev. Darlene Jewers officiating.
