Louise White — New Glasgow

New Glasgow: Mary “Louise ” White age 97 of New Glasgow passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday June 21 ,2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow. Born in Coalburn she was a daughter of the late James Albert and Elizabeth (Tighe) Kehoe. Louise worked for many years at various stores in New Glasgow. She was a member of the former St. Ann’s Church ,Thorburn and the CWL. Louise enjoyed playing bridge , knitting , reading and in her earlier years fishing .She was a member of the Thorburn Friendship Club. Surviving are sons ; Gregory (Diane) White of New Glasgow , Bernard (Verona)White of Bridgewater, grandchildren Joseph , Arlene ,Melissa , Melinda , Matthew and David , Step grandchildren Jimmy and Ruth Ann, great grandchildren Sarah , Jesika ,Ashley ,Cole ,Callie and Seamus , a sister Viola Fraser of New Glasgow, daughter-in-law Ann White of New Glasgow , a sister-in-law Jean Kehoe of Ontario, a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard , son John ,brothers George ,Jimmy ,John ,Paul and Bernard, sisters Margaret ,Rose ,Regina and Jenny ,daughter-in-law Joan White The family will receive visitors from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11 A.M. from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery ,Thorburn. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Louise may be made to the St. Ann’s Cemetery Fund or the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund .
