Lucy Hale Lloyd Nee Dawson

LLOYD, Lucy Hale nee Dawson 1926 - 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Lloyd on September 8, 2019, at the age of 93. Lucy was the beloved wife of the late John W. Lloyd of Westville; loving mother of Lucille (Charles) Shaver; grandmother of Lisa (Tim) Szabo and Todd Shaver (Kim Vanier) and ‘G-G’ to Zachary Shaver. She was predeceased by her sister, Freda (Donald) Robb of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Lucy was from Westville, the daughter of George and Lucy Dawson. She graduated from the Maritime College of Pharmacy in 1946 and worked at Murdoch’s Pharmacy in Westville. Lucy’s love of Nova Scotia was always with her. Lucy’s funeral was held in Ottawa, September 15, 2019. For those who wish, memorial donations to St. Bee’s Anglican Church, Westville, would be appreciated.
