WALLIS, May Victoria Webb (Preston) May Victoria Webb (Preston) Wallis, 93 of Glen Haven Manor, formerly of New Glasgow passed away peacefully on August 19, 2019 in the Glen Haven Manor. Born in London England she was a daughter of the late May and Albert Preston. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow and the War Brides Association. Mum was extremely proud of being British, being from London. She loved telling about growing up, being evacuated to the country during the war, meeting and marrying her Canadian soldier, and coming to Canada on the Queen Mary. She always loved a good cup of tea with her friends and family. Surviving are her sons, Lloyd (Cora), Yarmouth, Ralph (Clare), Milford; daughter, Catherine (Mike) Kiley, Stellarton; brother, Ron (Brenda) Preston, Adelaide, Australia; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Wallis (WWII Veteran); sisters, Winnifred in infancy, Hilda James; a brother, Tom Preston, and half-brother, Albert Preston. Cremation. There will be no visitation or funeral by request. Donations may be made to the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, Scotsburn. Arrangements are entrusted to the H.W.
