MacIntosh, Robert 81 Robert “Bob” Edward MacIntosh, 81 of Valley View Villa, formerly of Churchville, was called home to be with his loving wife on Sunday April 22, 2018. Robert is survived by his daughter Florence (Charles) Mason, Stellarton; Geordie (Sheila) MacIntosh, Stellarton; Peter(Marsha) MacIntosh, New Glasgow; Barry(Rhonda) MacIntosh, New Glasgow; William, Churchville and Barbara (Harvey) Avery, Hopewell; sister Sharon Maybe, Ontario; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded by his wife Carolee (nee MacDonald) and his parents George and Francis MacIntosh(nee Ward) Bob wore many hats in his lifetime, he was a snow plow operator for 28 years, owned his own trucking and backhoe business and was co-owner of Central cabs as well the hat of a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bob had a love for stock car racing in his early years where he could be found racing car number 35 around the track in Fraser’s Mountain and later James River Speedway. Bob was an avid card player who enjoyed a good game of crib and on Thursday nights you could find him playing bingo with his villa girls. A special thank you to the staff of Valley View Villa for their loving care and support. Also thank you to H.W. Angus Funeral Home for all the arrangements. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 at H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
