Robert Wayne “Bob” Taylor

Robert Wayne “Bob” Taylor, age 80, of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with his family by his side. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ernest and Gladys (Lochead) Taylor. Bob worked as a paint sprayer at Pictou Shipyards until his retirement. He was an avid sport fisherman and hunter. He will be dearly missed by his wife Emma (Smith); step sons, Melvin Quinn, Moncton; Troy Quinn (Nicole), New Glasgow; and Cory Quinn, New Glasgow; his children, Brenda, Bobby and James Taylor all in Ontario; grandchildren, Andrew, Haley, Jeffery and Madaline; brother Milton, New Glasgow; sister Elizabeth Aubé (Maurice), Ottawa; sisters in law, Louise Taylor, Ont., and Shirley Taylor, Ont.; and loved and admired by many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by brothers James (Jacqueline); William “Chic”, and John; infant sister Anne; and nephew Murray Taylor. There will be no visiting or funeral by request. A family grave side service will be held 2 o’clock Friday at Abercrombie Cemetery with Rev. Leon Teal officiating.
