WOOD, Ronald Anthony

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ronald Anthony Wood of Westville. Ronald passed away peacefully, with family members by his side, at the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit January 16th, after a long and courageous battle with multiple serious illnesses. Born on September 27, 1952, Ronnie was a son of the late William “Bill” and Annie (Dungale) Wood. Ronnie spent much of his life as a long-haul trucker, loved working in his shop and had a special passion for motorcycles. Ron lived, loved and worked hard. His greatest joy in later life was spending time with his grandson Lane. He is survived by his wife, Lorna (Dooley); his son, Jason (Alicia); grandson, Lane; sister, Lillian MacLeod; brothers, John (Leona), and James (Tina); sister-in-law, Betty Wood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronnie was predeceased by his sister, Arthene Russell and brothers, Arthur, Chester and William “Bill” Wood. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
