Sarah E. MacCulloch of Mt.Thom, age 102, of Mt. Thom, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, March 23, 2019 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born on September 28, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Elizabeth (MacKay) MacKinnon. She is survived by 4 sons; Leonard, St. Catherine's, Ont.; Harold (Priscilla), Mt. Thom; Roy (Jacqueline), Mt. Thom; Harvey (Doris), Chicopee, Mass; and 3 daughters, Charlotte Dixon, Salt Springs; Carol (John) Munro, Scotsburn; and Leona (Mike) Tracey, Mt. William. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Seymour; son in-law; Donnie Dixon; daughter in-law Ann MacCulloch; 3 granddaughters and 1 great grandson; and brothers, Donald, John & Roy. Sarah lived in Mt.Thom all of her life until moving into Glen Haven Manor in July 2016, in her 100th year. Her family would like to thank all of the staff of the Manor for the excellent care and compassion given to Mom during her stay. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Mt. Thom friends, neighbors and family who visited her at Glen Haven. Mrs. MacCulloch is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Tuesday, March 26, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Her funeral service will be held at 2o'clock Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Family flowers only.
