To the editor,
Canadians this week will be bombarded with a tsunami of polling, driven by a frenzied mob of spin doctors from all sides of the political spectrum.
Also in this maelstrom will be rogue polling, tampered partypolling and other activity, which we may recall from Harper days involving Pierre Poillevre (still a conservative MP). Did it once, will do it again.
A partial solution would be a seven-day cooling-off period prior to election day with an accompanying blackout on any and all polling.
Canadians are capable of making up their own minds without the influence and being subjected to the run amok spin doctor feeding frenzy.
