PICTOU, N.S. — To the editor,
I've just returned from a most wonderful trip around Atlantic Canada. It's certainly true what I had heard about the friendliness of the people, What I didn't hear about was your weather and how it can obviously change so fast. We were driving from the P.E.I. ferry towards New Glasgow across a causeway. The temperature at the time was around 28C and we saw I sign that read "Danger blowing snow next 4 KM".
We in Ontario had no idea that your weather could change so fast. Thank goodness there was no major changes in the weather as we crossed.
