The Fundy Highland Peewee AA Subway Selects claimed two victories against Valley Wild this past weekend in league play.
The first game was held at the Kentville Arena on Saturday, as the Selects worked hard to pull out a 4-1 victory. Mya MacDonald led the scoring for the Selects with a pair of goals, while Reese Murray and Hailey Taylor added singles. Assists were provided by MacDonald, Taylor, Ella Fitt, Avery Henderson and Meika Martin. Alana Palmer had the win in nets.
The second game was held at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre on Sunday, with Dunfdy Highland prevailing 2-1.
Murray and Martin each put one in the net with assists added by MacDonald, Fitt and Sidney Keay. Kenli Ross had the win in goal.
