The Pictou County Bantam A Crushers played three games against the Truro Bearcats this past weekend, coming away with a win, a loss and a tie.

In the first game at the Pictou County Wellness Centre on Saturday morning the Crushers dominated the Bearcats 8-1. Scoring for the Crushers were Dawson MacKay, Cailan MacLellan and Reilly Grant with two goals each while Willem Fraser and Ian Reynolds had singles. Ethan Trowell got the win in goal.

In the second game of the day played in Debert, the Crushers couldn't maintain their momentum and despite goals from Aidan Hahn and Kirk Turnbull lost 3-2 to Truro.

The teams met for the third time in two days Sunday morning at the PCWC and fought to a 1-1 draw. Gavin Bourque scored for the Crushers.

The Bantam As have no league games this coming weekend, but will host an exhibition match against the Cole Harbour Red Wings in Stellarton at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
