Bantam AA Crushers get two more wins

WESTVILLE ROAD, N.S.

The Pictou County Bantam AA Crushers collected two more wins this past weekend, defeating Truro 7-2 and Cumberland 5-3.

In Saturday's win, Logan Crosby had two goals with singles going to Cory MacGillivray, Lane Lochead, Reese Smith, Jayden Duplessis, and Kirk Turnbull.

Assists went to Eastyn Cameron, Cale Archibald, Jax Graham, Brent Chapman, Crosby, Lochead, Smith, Turnbull and Duplessis. Cole Battist collected the win in the Crusher net.

On Sunday, the Crushers traveled to Amherst had pulled out a win in a chippy affair.

Smith and Crosby each had two goals and one assist, while Lochead had one goal and two assists to pace the offense. Brendan Avery, Camden Kelly, and Scott Mosher collected assists. Evan Ramsey was the winning goalie.

Pictou County will now wait til the end of the month to play in the Nova Scotia Mainland League playoff tournament in Liverpool. They will go in as the number one seed, based on their first place record of 25-1-2.
