The Bantam AA Crushers played a pair of home games at the Pictou County Wellness Centre on the weekend.

On Saturday against Cumberland, the Crushers fell short by a score of 3-1. Jacoby Beadle capitalized on a rebound from a point shot by Dylan Kontuk for the Crushers only goal of the game.

On Sunday against a strong Acadia team, the Crushers fell 7-1. The home side created a number of scoring chances in the third period, but the lone Crusher goal went to Ryan Denny, assisted by Ross Martin and Brent Chapman.

The Bantam AAs will travel to Amherst to play Cumberland this coming Sunday.
