There were three events and an overall board break count. John Bezanson, shown at left, earned bronze in all three events while Robin Rorison-Fraser (at right) won a silver medal in spinning back kick. The other two events were rear elbow and side kick. They tied for silver in overall board break count. They train Taekwondo under Jimmy Hall (pictured in middle) and are affiliated with Integrity Martial Arts in Sydney. They all recently were tested and Rorison-Fraser earned her blue belt, while Bezanson and Corey Prosser earned green belt with blue stripe and Bill Burgess earned his green belt. Pictou County Taekwondo trains on Friday and Sunday nights at the Eureka fire hall.
