Brody Blair improved his pro boxing record to 4-0 on Saturday at the Halifax Forum.
Fighting on the undercard at the old rink, the Pictou-based fighter won a unanimous decision over Mexican boxer Hector Sanchez.
“He was tough,” Blair said of his opponent. “He was slippery, a wiry boxer. Hats off to him – he was a great test for me.”
Blair, who helped organize a successful boxing card in April 2018 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre, is already planning his next event, although as of the moment, he’s keeping his cards close to his chest.
“We’re working on something now. I can’t let the cat out of the bag yet, because there’s still some more work to do, but it should be (announced) shortly.”
