During round-robin games, the Crushers went 3-0, defeating Sydney, Cole Harbour and Chebucto to earn the No. 1 seed in the playoff round. In a semi-final matchup, the Crushers skated to an 10-3 victory over Saint John. The Crushers went on to defeat Cole Harbour 5-3 to take home the title.
