Teams from P.E.I., New Brunswick and Nova Scotia participated in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 divisions. In the U-12 Division, the Southern Black Bears from New Brunswick defeated KV-12 from New Brunswick, while the U-14 Division saw the Sackville Surge defeated the host Stingers in the championship game. Eastern P.E.I. defeated the Cole Harbour Comet Angels in the U-16 championship.
The Stingers will host the 2018 Softball Nova Scotia U-14 Female Fastball Championship at the Dorrington Softball Complex this coming weekend. Round robin play begins on Friday night on Field-1 at 5 p.m., with the host Stingers playing Highland Park followed by the Stingers facing Sackville Surge at 7 pm.
Actions continues all day Saturday with the Stingers playing at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and concludes Sunday, with the semifinal game at 10 a.m., followed by the championship game at 12:30 p.m.
