The Pictou County Scotians have been eliminated by the Glace Bay Miners in Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League playoff action.
The Scotians lost 7-5 in Game 5 of their series in Cape Breton on Thursday.
With their season on the brink, the Scotians came back from a 4-1 deficit in the second period to even the game, but the Miners scored three unanswered in the third to pull away from Pictou County.
Logan Vande Meerakker scored twice and set up a goal for the Scotians, while Will Kelly, Jacob Pentz and Gillis Cox also had goals.
