WESTVILLE ROAD – Looking to end a losing streak, the Pictou County Weeks Major Midgets will host the Cape Breton West Islanders on Friday,
Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
The Major Midgets have dropped two in a row against the Islanders and six straight overall.
On Wednesday in Cape Breton, Weeks took an early first-period lead then watched a 3-1 advantage fall by the wayside in a 6-4 loss.
Ryan MacLennan, Rowan Sears, Blake Kontuk and Justin Hardie had the Pictou County goals.
