New Waterford Boxing Club holds fight card in Reserve Mines

RESERVE MINES, N.S. — The New Waterford Boxing Club held a 12-fight card at the Reserve Mines Fire Hall on Nov. 23.

Aiden Jessome of Tri-Town Boxing defeated Maslyah Joyce of City of the Lake club in the 100-pound division, while Riley Snow of Membertou Boxing picked up a victory over Junter Naugle of Westville in the 118-pound category.

Jeff MacAulay of New Waterford downed Josh Whatson of Truro in the 135-pound class, while Owen Brophy picked up an exhibition win over Ryan Bernard of New Waterford.

Marshall Marshall of Eskasoni beat Jeriah Mosher of Truro in the 180-pound class, while Aiden Turner of Oxford bested Cameron Murray of New Waterford in the 200-plus category.

Dylan Stairs of Tri-Town Boxing posted a win over Xander Martin of Westville in the 105-pound class. Xorion Martin defeated Johnny Campbell of New Waterford in the 130-pound weight class, and Reade Primeau downed Parker Doucette of New Waterford, also in a 130-pound fight.

Matt Ross of New Waterford beat his clubmate Brayden LeBlanc in the 152-pound division, while Wynn Toronitz of Membertou won his fight with Shawn Reid of New Waterford in the 180-pound class.

In the final fight of the night, Spencer McGee of Truro posted a victory over Noah Heffernan in the 75-pound weight class.
