WESTVILLE ROAD – The Nova North Stars Peewee hockey team will be holding fundraising events to send their players to the Atlantic championships being held June 1-3 in Halifax.
On May 20, the team will be having a barbecue at the Aberdeen Sobeys from 10 a.m until 4 p.m.
The team is also having a bottle drive. If anyone has bottles and cans to donate, they can be dropped off at Bill Stewart’s bottle exchange on Westville Road.
Anyone with donations can say it is for the Nova North Stars Peewee team and they will be added to the North Stars’ account.
