The Nighthawks trailed by 20 points at the break and suffered a 106-69 loss at the hands of the Cobequid Cougars. Northumberland will now compete in a play-in game for a chance to earn a berth at the NSSAF championship Feb. 28 to March 2 in the Highland region.
