From left, Cameron Boulter (2nd in men’s pre-novice), Jailyn Elliott (1st in pre-novice dance with Dawson Munroe), Katelyn Li (1st in pre-novice ladies Under 11), Dawson Munroe, and Brooke Pennington (2nd, pre-novice ladies’). Boulter also captured the Francis Glenwright Award for best artistic performance. With the exception of Li, all will travel to Edmonton to compete at the Canadian Challenge, which also serves as a qualifier for the 2019 Canada Winter Games. The skaters, like others at Mariposa East, also volunteer to help with the club’s CanSkate program.
