HALIFAX – Truro’s Dylan Blenkhorn picked up his second win of the season and his 14th Series victory after winning the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150 at Scotia Speedworld Saturday night.

Reigning Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion Shawn Turple (Enfield) came home second followed by Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, P.E.I.). Cole Butcher (Porter Lake) and Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay) rounded out the top five in a race that took just over an hour and was slowed by only two cautions.

Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake) picked up the pole position for the Nova Truck Centres 150 after winning the first of three 10 lap Atlantic Tiltload qualifying heats which set the 21-car field. Slaunwhite and Hicken also won their respective heat races. Waylon Farrell (Conception Bay South, N.L.) picked up the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Race with a 10th place finish. Jarrett Butcher takes home the King Freight Future Winner award after a 14th place showing.

Next week the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour heads to Prince Edward Island for the first of two events this season at Oyster Bed Speedway.
