PICTOU?- Pictou Academy's senior girls soccer team continued their winning ways with two victories in the last week.
On Monday, Pictou Academy defeated North Colchester 2-1, as Heather Bourgeois scored two goals for the Pitbulls in the last 10 minutes of the game to erase a 1-0 deficit.
Keeper Danielle Cyr got credit for the win in the P.A. net.
On Thursday, Pictou Academy defeated Parrsboro 2-0.
Bourgeois scored both goals for the red and white and Corie Smith earned the shutout.
PA's record now stands at 8-0.
The boy's team wasn't as successful as their female counterparts, losing 4-0 to North Colchester on ?Monday.
P.A. will travel to Oxford on Thursday and hosts Oxford next Tuesday.
Pictou Academy will host the NSSAF Division 4 Regional Championships Oct. 17-18.
