MOUNT WILLIAM – The Pictou County Subway Selects Peewee A girls took to the ice this past Saturday to play against the Antigonish Bulldogs at the Pictou County Wellenss Center. The game was close, but ended with a loss of 4-3.
Goals scored by the Select Girls were from Avery Henderson in the first period and a pair of goals from Hailey Taylor during the second and third periods.
All goals were unassisted. The girls almost scored late in the third to tie it up, but fell short.
