The Peewee A girls had a great tournament at the Subway Cup this past weekend at the Pictou County Wellness Center.
The first game on Friday came with a win against a Halifax team, Inferno Gold, 5-3. Game two was another win against East Prince Wildcats from P.E.I., a 11-0 result.
Game 3 was also victorious for the Selects, a 2-1 victory over against Pownal (P.E.I.).
The locals made it to crossovers but lost 3-1 against Western Riptide. Goals this weekend came from Avery Henderson (7), Abby MacDougall (5), Hailey Taylor (3), Acelyn Potter (2), Carman Langille (2), Alexis Tulloch (1) and Kyla Jobe (1).
