The Peewee AA Subway Selects attended the Sweetheart Tournament in P.E.I. this weekend.
Their opening game on Friday was a 4-1 win against Western Wind, with Selects goals by Elisabeth MacEachern, Chloe Garcia, Namara Clarke from Sidney Keay and Karlee Rose, and Garcia from Ella Fitt.
Their first game on Saturday was a 4-0 loss to Metro West Force Red.
The second game Saturday was a 3-1 win against Central Storm. Selects goals by Anna Kennaley from Garcia and Elisabeth MacEachern, and two goals by Garcia, one of them assisted by Kennaley.
Their semifinal game on Sunday was a 2-1 loss in the shootout against Metro West Force White. Rose scored the only Selects goal, assisted by Lily LeBlanc.
