In a Mainland League game played Jan. 20 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre (PCWC), the Pictou County Peewee AAA Crushers beat the Truro Bearcats 4-3.
Scoring for the Crushers were Landon Steele, Dominic MacKenznie, Lane Sim and Kaden Smith. Assists coming off the sticks of Keegan Dalton, Owen Conrad, Steele, MacKenzie, Cade Moser and Ben Manos. Jorja Burrows played very well in goal and held off a third period charge by the Bearcats.
The Crushers next see action Feb. 9 vs the Truro Bearcats at the Colchester Legion Stadium at noon, and play the East Hants Penguins the next day, in a 2:15 p.m. exhibition game at the PCWC.
